PUBLICATION BIAS EXERCISE (SPSS 29)

Researchers undertaking a meta-analysis using correlation data should pay special attention to calculating the variance or standard error of the Fisher's z values. This is a critical part of the process, as is converting the Pearson correlation coefficients to Fisher's z values. The pre-calculated effect size and its variance or standard error can then be computed and stored in a dataset for continuous and binary data (Sen & Yildirim, 2022).
